Oh Alta! I had no idea that Elliot had CF. I used to work at the CF Clinic at PCMC and I know how hard it was on the parents and the children...lots of meds and therapy goes into it! I wish I would have read your blog a week ago I would have been at the walk in a heartbeat! I think of you often and would love to keep in touch with you...I have a private blog but if you send my your email address I can add you. I got your blog from Bonnie. I know that you get bugged when people say, "Alta, you are such a "special" mom and person to be raising Elliot." But Alta, you truly are an amazing person all the way around. I have known that about you for a LONG TIME! (It's in the Lowe genes.) You and Mike have always been one of our top favorite couples! Especially when you guys fight and argue in that fun loving/teasing way! Can't wait to see you soon
I wish I could have been there. I felt like a super slacker friend when I saw that Holly Jacobsen...just after she delivered a child was there. Know that I think of you all the time. I miss our sweet fondue parties.
