Help us Find The Cure to Cystic Fibrosis

What is it with computers?

I HATE COMPUTERS! I get so frustrated trying to do the simplest things! Is it just my blonde hair, or cause I am a girl? Ahhhh.
Sorry just need to vent at times

My Best Buddy Char Man

So I decided that I should let you in on my secret to staying sane.  His name is Charlie!  I know, I know, a couple of weeks ago he was driving me crazy. I think that he realized that I needed his sweet little spirit to brighten my day.  So I will share some of the sweeter things he says to me.

Every morning he wakes up and comes into my room and whispers to me "you wake mommy, you wake." I will whimper and say yes, then he says "good morning mom, good morning, you happy?"
I think that says to much about me right there.
Through out the day he will come up to me and have these cute sayings like
"wu sweet girl mommy, I wuv wu"
Or he will come up to me and put is hands on my cheek and squish my face into a fish face and say "wue my cutie mommy"
This one made me laugh today. I was laying on the ground playing with the kids, and Charlie pats my on my chest and says "mommy you have babies in here?" then proceeds to pat each one and say "one in here and one in here?"
I love this kid!
Then at times, ok most of the time, I am stressed and he is very in-tune with my emotions. He will come up to me and say " mommy its a ok, its a ok, I wuv wu" and give me a big kiss.
One last thing he loves to do is give me kisses.  I used to ask him for a smooch before he went to sleep at night.  Well now he calls all of his kisses mooches.
Charlie is who makes my day brighter, thanks big guy, your mommy loves you!

1st day of Spring

Yes!  It is finally here.  I am so sick of sitting inside of my house because it is so cold outside.  My kids are so sick of my and need to run around and play.  We can only draw so many pictures, and watch so many disney movies.  I think that my life is going to start to be a lot easier.   I also can't wait to get my fingers into my garden.  The tulips are getting so tall and I can see my peony's start to come up.  I love it, so fresh and beautiful.

Mommy kissing Her Baby

A picture I took of us just the other day!  Look at those sweet cheeks!

I think I should change my name to Bessy

Does it mean that I am pumping to much when I think that the pump is saying "arm-hole arm-hole arm-hole" each time it sucks me?  Cause thats what I am hearing.  Like I said I should rename myself with a good milking cows name, like Bessy.  My grandma grew up on a dairy farm and her favorite milking cow was named Bessy, I guess she produced the most milk.   I am not sure if "they" will ever be the same after that machine is done with me.  But Elliot, it is totally worth it, cause I love you more than "them".  Plus it is a great work out, sitting in front of my computer writing a new post on my blog, listening to "arm-hole arm-hole arm-hole", and end up burning about 190 calories a sitting.  Not bad!  Sometimes I even eat ice cream during it, and come out about even steven?  I know you are all jealous.  Well it looks like my workout is about done, wow I feel great.

Salty Boy

This is my salty boy Elliot.  My baby.  He is 4 months old, and a little over 10lbs.  I know that sounds small, but we are so excited that he is that big.  Elliot was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis when he was 2 months.  He only weighed 6lbs then.  So now that he is on the right meds he is growing so fast.  I feel so lucky too because I have had a newborn for over 4 months now.  Not many people get that.  He is a sweetie, and I love him, but I can't wait till he is a little bigger and sleeps better, I am tired a lot.  But he is worth ever non-sleeping minute.

Charlie Boy

This is Charlie.  He is 2 years old, and totally crazy!  As you can see in this picture he is into everything.  He is also so very sweet.  His favorite thing to say to me is " It's a Okay mommy.  It's a Okay."  I love it.  He always has a hug and a kiss for me.  Could I ask for more?

Our Big Sissy

This is my oldest and only girl, Lizzie.  Doesn't she have a beautiful smile!  She is five years old and will be going to kindergarten this coming fall.  Wow, that went way to fast.  I am so proud of her and what a huge help she is with her little brothers.  I hope you know how much I love you Lizzie!

Sleep? Who needs sleep?

Last night I was up 9 times with my kids.  It was if Elliot knew if Lizzie had just fallen asleep and decided that it was a good time to be hungry, and then Charlie would feel left out and need some milk.  What the Heck!  I am wondering what lesson I am suppose to be learning from this.  Cause it sure isn't making me stronger, just a lot grumpier!  I don't think my kids remember what I was like prior to Elliot!  I have decided that as soon as Elliot hits 13lbs I am going to let him cry during the night.  I need to get my sleep.  The whole thought or memory of me having to stick that stupid binky in his mouth 8 times a night just makes me yawn.  I think I would rather have a thumb sucker that not get sleep.  Maybe I will do that, take him off of his binky.  Any thoughts or ideas?  I am totally open!
